Hello again,
Back home after church....Yep meetings on Wednesday, a good way to get strength from other Christians and the fellowship that goes along with meeting with like hearts and minds. Christian fellowship is a great way to nuture your beliefs and find friends. As I stated before to be a born again Christian the first step is to confess that you are a sinner and that you are sorry (repent) for your sins and that you belive that Jesus is the Son of God and he was sent here to live as a man and die for your sins. The second step is to find a home Church and start a real journey in life. A good read is Isaiah 53 chapter, The whole thing it is about a suffering servant(Jesus) and it is a prediction of the coming Savior. Check back soon.

Hello,
Just a few lines tonight. There are some very important verses in the Holy Bible and all human issues are covered in one way or another. Many new Christians lack good debate skills and they feel that they are inadequate when it comes to getting there point across. in retrospect a person should consider being well versed or knowledgeable and be able to quote scripture. I am not saying that you need to memorize the Bible but if you study the word you should be able to quote scripture and answer most any logical question that is asked of you. Remember God is always with you; look up a couple of verses the first is in the book of Joshua chapter 1 verse 9 and the other is Psalm 117, both verses are very encouraging and should help give you strength.

Hi again,
In a series of posts I expect to
share with those who read these posts the way to follow Christ and have an
assurance of salvation. One fact I would like to make known is first and
foremost I am a sinner and I also know that God will not wink at my sins; then
how do I make restitution for my sins? I
go to God in prayer and I ask to be forgiven in the name of Jesus because I
believe that he is my Intercessor as well as yours. Some of you who read this post will know what
I am talking about and there will be others who simply do not. As a practicing
Christian I consider myself to be born again in the sense that I follow the
teachings of Jesus to the best of my ability. The first step for me was to
confess my sin and recognize that I was a sinner and accept the sacrifice of
Jesus by God the father as intercession for my sins. As in the first post read
John 3:16 in the King James Version but there are many good bible translations
such as NIV (New International Version) or the English Standard Version you get
the idea to me it is more important to understand the bible and that it is the
written word of God and therefore a map if you will, of what God expects of you
and me. If you do not own a bible they
are really easy to get and if you are reading this then you have the bible at
your finger tips at the following website. http://www.biblegateway.com/. This is a
free website to my knowledge and the site has many links leading to other
sites.
Remember salvation is the first step
and that can take place anywhere and at anytime, the question is are you ready
to quit living separated from God and having no real peace or direction in your
life if so then stop where you are and ask for God to forgive you and one way
to say that is simply Father or Heavenly Father please forgive me because I am
a sinner and I want change my life I believe in Jesus as your only begotten Son
and that he was sacrificed for my sins.
If you prayed this prayer or want to
go to a Church then please do so and once you have made this commitment don’t
look back.
God’s blessings

Hi,
I want to start by saying that I am new to blogging and I will try to share my thoughts on following the teachings of Jesus Christ. Tonight I would like to start with a couple of thoughts concerning how God demonstated his love for all of us. In a well known and often quoted verse in the Holy Bible God gave his own son inorder that we may have salvation through the sacrifice. In John 3:16 the apostle John related in no uncertain terms that "God so loved the world(you and I) that he gave his only begotten son(Jesus) that whosoever believed in him should not perish, but have ever lasting life". Having said that then if you claim to believe in the Bible and Jesus and God then this sacrifice was for you. All that is needed to do is believe in Jesus Christ to be saved, but once make that decision and accept Christ into your life then there should be a visible change in your life, so much so that your friends would be very aware of it. In other words the change is something that you cannot hide. Thanks for reading this post and I will post several times a week. I will try to answer thoughtful, prayerful questions in a scholarly biblical manner and if I don't know the answer I will find out.
